Prime Minister's Community Business Partnership

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say how much I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with Social Compass and I hope to do so again in the future. The work that Social Compass has undertaken for the Prime Minister's Community Business Partnership has been of the highest quality.

The research you undertook for the Partnership in 2005/06, 'Corporate Australia Building Trust and Stronger Communities' was a fine piece of research and an extremely useful study of cross sector partnerships and social capital. You clearly not only have a sound academic understanding of the subject but a very practical, 'hands on' understanding of the issues.

(Ros Casey, Manager, Prime Minister's Awards for Excellence in Community Business Partnerships)

Aboriginal Affairs Victoria (AAV)

Aboriginal Affairs Victoria (AAV) used a select tender to engage Social Compass to review the pilot test of the Governance Training Program (GTP). As Social Compass had previously evaluated a component of the Program that was running in another jurisdiction they bought significant prior understanding about the intent of the program and of the environment it was operating in.  The review of the GTP workshops was undertaken closely with AAV where Social Compass developed the methodology and within a short timeframe were able to assess the effectiveness of the pilot.  The review was completed on time and the report was used in the development of an expanded program for 2006-07. Overall AAV was very happy with the working partnership the developed during the review, the methodology used and the final report.

Office of the Registrar of Aboriginal Corporations (ORAC)

Social Compass is 'highly competent. They know their expertise but are able to communicate it to others in a manner that is easy to understand. There were very few delays in the meeting of contract timelines. The report was completed in a timely manner. The strongest aspects were the in-depth information obtained.

(Robyn Kicenko, Assistant Director, Training and Publications, ORAC)
