Oxfam OIYP Impact Assessment

This is an in-depth 10 year impact assessment of the Oxfam International Youth Partnership (OIYP) Program. The primary objective of this evaluation is to assess the extent to which the OIYP Program has contributed to building the capacity of young people to influence changes in their communities. Specifically the evaluation assesses impacts against the 5 domains of change:

1. Personal empowerment of active citizens
2. Expanding network of relationships and sphere of influence
3. Capacity to engage with, challenge and influence power structures
4. Developing enabling environment for active citizenship
5. Changes toward more just communities, policies and practices

Using technological-based data gathering and connection tools, the evaluation uses a mixed method approach.The report will contribute to the strategic direction of the OIYP Program and Oxfam's youth work more broadly.
