Victorian Indigenous Community Leadership Strategy
The aim of this project was to build the evaluative capacity of the Indigenous organizations in question. The project had three levels of evaluation:
- Level 1 - Building evaluation capacity through on-site group and individual training and support of eight Indigenous organisations across Victoria;
- Level 2 - A meta-analysis and meta-evaluation of the eight programs including analysis and commentary on how projects contribute to overall leadership development and community capacity building in Indigenous communities;
- Level 3 - An examination of the degree to which the Victorian Indigenous Leadership Strategy has fulfilled its overall aims and objectives.
The finding from this project aimed to inform future strategic planning for the organizations themselves and for Aboriginal Affairs Victoria, Department of Victorian Communities.
