• Supporting Aboriginal Communities Controlled Organizations in their Strategic Plan

This is an action-research project that involves Social Compass working to assist two Aboriginal Community Controlled Organizations to work through the development of a strategic plan. The project has three primary aims:

• To build the planning and management capacity of the participating organizations
• To develop a better understanding of ways of planning for Aboriginal Community Controlled Organizations
• To develop a Strategic Plan through a collaborative process with the participating organizations.

Social Compass is working with representatives from each organization including Board members, key staff and a designated officer to support the project.
